Immerse 2019
Immerse is one of the largest biennale public art exhibitions in Greater Melbourne. Funded and delivered by The City of Knox the art festival transforms the City of Knox into a living art gallery every two years.
In 2019 a responsive new model presented 44 artists and 49 installations over 22 venues from shopping centres to galleries, universities to libraries and cafes. Exhibitions were programmed alongside 35 performances, events, talks and workshops for the first time.
In 2019 Immerse audience engagement grew by 50% to 130,000+ and was featured across media in print, digital and social media with a reach of 1 million+.
